ANKARA – As new stories of oppression, brutality and horror continue toemerge from Indian-occupied Kashmir, voices from social activists continueto soar calling for the boycott of Indian products for registering protestagainst state-terrorism.
In one such another move, Turk activist has called for slapping a ban onrelease of Bollywood movies in Turkey.
The Turk activist Ali Keskin took to Twitter and stated, “Indian filmsshould be banned in Turkey!”
During the 74th session of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Turkey’sRecep Tayyip Erdogan was one of the few world leaders who condemned blatantand unabated atrocities of Indian forces in occupied-Kashmir. Whiledemanding to lift the curfew, Erdogan stressed on giving promisedright-to-self-determination to oppressed people of occupied-Kashmir.
On the other hand, pro-Indian Kashmiri activist Shehla Rashid has confessedto rising popularity of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan in occupied-Kashmir.Shehla took to twitter and said, “Modi govt’s actions have created a hugesoft corner for Pakistan in Kashmir. Three people from Kashmir told me overthe phone that, after Imran Khan’s UNGA speech last night, there wererallies, celebrations, firecrackers in Kashmir. There’s no diplomatic wayof saying this!”
