ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court response over the petition filed against theadvisor to PM Imran Khan, Zulfi Bukhari appointment has surfaced.
SC on Friday rejected a constitutional petition against the appointment ofSyed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari (Zulfi Bukhari) as a special assistant to PrimeMinister Imran Khan.
The SC registrar objected that the petitioners did not approach the properforum and the prime minister has been impleaded as a respondent which cannot be done.
Bukhari, popularly known as Zulfi Bukhari, is a close aide and friend ofthe premier and was appointed as the special assistant to the primeminister for overseas Pakistanis and human resource development
The petition filed under Article 184(3) of the Constitution takes issuewith Bukhari’s dual nationality and states that he is currently underinvestigation by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
