Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohammad has underscored the need for reforms in the United Nations particularly the Security Council.
Addressing the UN General Assembly session in New York today, he said five countries on the basis of their 70-year-old war victories cannot claim to have a right to hold the world to ransom forever.
He said no one should threaten the world body with financial deprivation.
