Asif Ali Zardari shifted to VIP ward of hospital from jail

*ISLAMABAD: *Former president Asif Ali Zardari was shifted to the PakistanInstitute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) after his health deteriorated onThursday.

The Pakistan Peoples Party co-chairman was shifted to the hospital amidhigh security in an armored vehicle.

In order to ensure his security, he was taken into the hospital from theback gate.
