ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that promoting trade andfacilitating business community are among the priority areas of thegovernment.He said this while chairing a meeting about functioning of Ministry ofCommerce in Islamabad today (Wednesday).The Prime Minister observed that there is a need to review the criteria forappointment and assessing the performance of the trade officers abroad soas to ensure that business community is properly facilitated.Imran Khan directed that a comprehensive strategy should be worked out tocheck corrupt practices of illegal money transfers (hundi) and smugglingwhich are adversely affecting the national economy.
