ISLAMABAD – Acting President Sadiq Sanjrani has approved the establishmentof a new National Economic Council.

He approved the summary sent on the recommendation of Prime Minister ImranKhan.

The approval has been granted under Article 156(1) of the Constitution.

The new NEC will comprise of Finance Minister Asad Umar, Federal Ministerfor Planning and Development Makhdoom Khusru Bakhtiar, PM’s Adviser AbdurRazzaq Dawood and Dr Ishrat Hussain.
