ISLAMABAD – Higher Education Commission of Pakistan would award aroundthree thousand scholarships to Afghan students under a four-year programme.
This was stated by Special Advisor to Prime Minister on Information andBroadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan white talking to APP.
She said these scholarships will be offered to students of differentcategories in phases every year.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said this year around eight hundred Afghan studentswould come to Pakistan for studies and benefit from this programme.
She said these scholarships are a gift from Prime Minister of Pakistan, thegovernment of Pakistan and the HEC.
