MPA Majeed Achakzai was declared wanted in a kidnapping case by Courts in the past

QUETTA: Another case against the MPA Majeed Achakzai has surfaced in which he was declared a proclaimed offender by the Courts.

Majeed Achakzai was declared wanted in a kidnapping case back in 2009 when he had failed to present himself before the courts.

According to details, MPA Majeed Achakzai, who is currently booked in the case pertaining to the hit-and-run killing of traffic police sergeant Ataullah, was arrested back in 2009 in relation to a case involving the kidnapping of the owner of a private hospital.

The court had declared Achakzai a wanted man after he had not presented himself for the proceedings of the case. Ever since then eight years have passed however, Majeed Achakzai has not been arrested by police.

It was June 20 when Achakzai’s vehicle was racing along GPO Chowk intersection when it hit Traffic Sub-Inspector Haji Ataullah, who was performing his duty in the middle of the road.

The sub-inspector was critically injured. He was rushed to Civil Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
