Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman Saturdayannounced another round of public gatherings against the government fromSwat on July 4.
He said the PDM link will hold a big rally inSwat on July 4 followed by a gathering in Karachi on July 29 and inIslamabad on the eve of Pakistan’s Independence Day on August 14.
PDM link chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman,addressing the presser alongside the alliance’s leaders, said PML-N supremoNawaz Sharif, BNP-M chief Akhtar Mengal, attended the meeting via video,while other Opposition party leaders were present in person.
He reiterated his stance that the current government did not have massessupport.
Earlier, the summit meeting of the top leaders of the Pakistan DemocraticMovement (PDM) started in Islamabad on Saturday with JUI-F chief MaulanaFazlur Rahman in the chair.
The much-awaited huddle link of the PDMlink took place at the PML-NSecretariat in the federal capital with a focus on framing the futurestrategy of the alliance.

PML-N President Shehbaz Shariflink was leading his party’sdelegation which also included Vice-President Maryamlink, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and AhsanIqbal.
Leaders from other PDM link component partieswere also in attendance including Aftab Sherpao, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, MirKabir Shahi and Tahir Bezinjo.
