*GUJRANWALA – A woman was gang-raped on the order of a ‘punchayat’, avillage jury, in Irsaal Colony on Wednesday.*
According to the police, the accused include the victim’s father-in-law,brother-in-law and husband’s relatives.
The police have registered a case and arrested Riaz, Arshad, Miraj, Habiband Shehzad.
The police said that the DNA test of the accused would be conducted.
The victim told 92 News that the police were not arresting the accused. “Iwant justice from the authorities,” she said.

Her relatives said that Riaz had called the punchayat which ordered togang-rape the victim. “The accused alleged that the victim had relationswith some people and she would be raped as punishment,” they said.
They appealed to Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and IGP Punjab Arif Nawaz toprovide them justice and give exemplary punishment to the accused.
