LAHORE – Finance Department Punjab has recommended ten percent rise insalary and pension of government employees in the upcoming (2019-20)provincial budget, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
Further details suggest that Finance Department Punjab has sought approvalfrom Chief Minister Usman Buzdar over the proposal.
The finance department sources have revealed that Rs530 billion will bespent on salaries and pensions of government employees for the next fiscalyear. Out of the total sum, Rs320 billion will be paid as salaries andRs210 billion as pensions.
