*ISLAMABAD – The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issuedsudden flood alert for Gilgit Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.*
The authorities have been directed to aware the local population andtourists about the situation.
The NDMA has directed the GBDMA and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa PDMA to be readyto deal with any emergency situation. It also ordered the authoritiesconcerned to ensure availability of emergency staff and machinery.
