*RAWALPINDI – DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that announced that thegovernment had decided to bring all seminaries under the Education Ministryand all Ulema were agreed to the decision.*
Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that in the uniformsyllabus of seminaries, there will be respect for all sects and there willbe no hate material. “A student of the Jamia Rashidia was commissioned inthe Pak Army.”
Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that there were 30,000 seminaries (madrassas) inthe country. “The number of seminaries promoting terrorism is less than100.”
He said that Islamic extremism could be eliminated through the uniformsyllabus. “Pakistan is at 113 in the education rating of 139 countries.
He said that each Pakistan is ready to fight a war for Kashmir. “Kashmirruns in our veins and the thought of Kashmiris run in our veins. We will dowhatever is needed for the independence of Kashmir,” he said.
The DG ISPR said that there was no organized network of any terroristorganization. “Over 81,000 Pakistanis were martyred or injured in the waragainst terrorism,” he said.
