NEW DELHI – China is expected to remove its hold on the listing of Jaish eMuhammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar as an international terrorist in comingfew weeks, multiple sources have confirmed to WION.
Though time frame hasn’t been given, sources on anonymity said, they arequite positive and hopeful.
China had put a hold on the listing of Masood Azhar as an internationalterrorist on 13 th March at the 1267 sanctions committee of the UNSC.Bejing has 9 months still to decided and remove the hold after the 13thmarch decision.
The development comes even as UK last week expressed optimism that Jaish eMuhammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar will be soon listed and India providedevidence of terrorist activities of Jaish-e-Mohammad and its leader MasoodAzhar to China.
