ISLAMABAD: Trade bodies and business community across the country have hailed the government for introducing pro-trade and business initiatives in its Federal Budget 2018-19.
Hailing the reforms for ease of doing business in the proposed budget, Business community said that the measures introduced in budget would help to set a proper direction of the national economy.
They said it is a unique precedent in the national history that an elected government has presented its 6th budget.
In this connection, Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front also appreciated the government’s new budget, terming it balanced and beneficial for businesses and trade.
PIAF Chairman Irfan Iqbal Sheikh said that the initiatives announced in the budget would help create more employment opportunities thus ensuring alleviation of poverty.
Talking of the amnesty scheme he said, it would prove to be beneficial for the economy and encourage the people to get themselves registered with tax collection authorities.
