The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques on Sundayannounced the Ramadan plans for this year.
Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais, the President for the Affairs of the HolyMosques, revealed the plans on Sunday via press briefing.
The plans were made to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
1- 10 Rakats of Taraweeh and Tahajjud will be led in the Haramain Sharifainthis year with 3 Rakts Witr.
2- Worshippers will be allowed to pray in the King Abdullah Expansion,first floor, roof, and Courtyards.
3- Mataaf will remain closed to all except Umrah Pilgrims.
4- Umrah Pilgrims will not be allowed to touch the Ka’bah.
5- Iftar spreads will be suspended, instead, individual distribution willbe conducted.
6- I’tikaf will not be allowed in the last 10 days.
7- Zamzam supply will remain suspended and will be supplied individuallythrough personnel and bottles.
8- Permission to enter the Grand Mosque will only be allowed with validpermits issued via the Eatmarna App.
