QUETTA – Lawmakers announced the launch of ‘Balochistan Awami Party’during a press conference held in Quetta on Thursday.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, independent senatorsand dissident members of PML-N are the members of the newly formedpolitical party.

Senator Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has been appointed as the central spokesman ofthe party. The party leaders have vowed to work for the progress andprosperity of the province.

The party will be registered with the Election of Commission of Pakistanonce its office-bearers have been chosen.
