Legendary South African fast bowler, Dale Steyn, is finally on his way toPakistan to participate in the PSL 2020. This will be his first stint withthe league and he will represent Islamabad United.

Steyn announced the news in his Instagram story, saying, “See you soonPakistan”.
The 36-year-old was busy playing for South Africa in the T20I seriesagainst Australia which concluded recently. The fast bowler had earlierexpressed his eagerness to play in Pakistan.

There were speculations that he might not be available for the entirety ofPSL due to national commitments, however, he will be joining the Unitedsquad now and will be available for the franchise’s next match againstPeshawar Zalmi on Saturday.
If the fast bowler had been picked for the Proteas’ ODI squad for theseries against Australia and then India, he would have missed playing inthe PSL.
