KARACHI – Pakistan International Airlies (PIA) management has instructedfor work-friendly and productive roster to facilitate the cabin crew.In a statement on Tuesday a PIA spokesperson said that the schedulingsection is directed to accommodate cabin crew’s long-standing demand fordays off and reduction in unnecessary layovers abroad.The new schedule to be implemented in coming month will be in line withPakistan Civil Aviation Authority – PCAA’s air navigation order, he said.This will ensure proper rest while at same time maintaining flight safetystandards, he added.He said that the main objective is to provide maximum comfort and rest athome. Such adjustments will facilitate, especially the female cabin crew tospend adequate time with their families, he said.
