On Thursday, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) lifted the freeze on voter lists, enabling voters to make changes, additions, transfers, or corrections to their voting information until October 25th.
Earlier, following the restructuring of constituencies, the electoral authority had declared that elections would be conducted by January 2024.
As part of an initiative to encourage voter participation, the Election Commission has extended the duration for voter list adjustments by roughly one month.
This extended period grants eligible individuals the opportunity to register, update, transfer, or rectify their voter details until October 25th.
