The U.S. President Donald Trump has called on Russia to pull its troops from Venezuela and said that “all options” are open to make that happen.
Two Russian air force planes carrying nearly 100 troops landed at the outskirts of Caracas on Saturday has escalated the political crisis in Venezuela.
Russia and China have backed President Nicolas Maduro, while the United States and most other Western countries support opposition leader Juan Guaido in the prevailing political crisis in Venezuela.
Meanwhile a spokeswoman for Russia’s Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova has said that the United States should pull troops from Syria if it wants Moscow to withdraw its troops from Venezuela.
