Pakistani JIT on PathanKot Air Base Attack meets Indian counterpart in New Delhi

NEW DELHI: Pakistan JIT on Pathankot Airbase met with their counterparts of National Investigation Agency (NIA) in New Delhi.

 

JIT asked for all registered FIRs in connection with the Pathankot attack and CCTV footage.

 

The probe team also asked for access to BSF and Punjab Police Officer Salwinder Singh and call records of his family members too.

 

Probe team asked for access to postmortem reports and mobile phones of attackers.

 

Earlier, NIA barricaded JIT from full access to airbase and witnesses of the incident.

 

NIA claimed that there are sensitive areas in Pathankot airbase where technical military assets are being kept that’s why JIT will be able to visit specific area of the incident point.

 

Pakistan JIT will visit the incident point on Tuesday.

 


The airbase was attacked by militants on January 2 and India claimed that Pakistan based JeM is involved in the attacks.
