Indian Police cracks down on Hurriyat Leaders in Occupied Kashmir

In Occupied Kashmir, the Indian police raided the houses of three Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leaders and arrested them.


The arrested leaders included Ayaz Akbar, Altaf Ahmad Shah and Raja Merajud Din Kalwal.

The police also raided the residence of another Tehreeke-e-Hurriyat leader Pir Saifullah but he was not present at his home.

Tehreeke-e-Hurriyat confirmed the arrest of these leaders.

Meanwhile, tight security arrangements have been made as Amarnath yatra began in the territory today.

Besides routine security measures, extra forces were deployed and mobile jammers installed along the pilgrimage route.
