Iran has extended condolences to Pakistan following the tragic killing of nine of its laborers on Iranian soil. The Iranian envoy to Pakistan strongly condemned the attacks on Pakistani laborers in his official statement, emphasizing the mutual commitment of Tehran and Islamabad to prevent any harm to their brotherly relations.
Expressing solidarity, the envoy declared that Iran and Pakistan stand united against any attempts by enemies to undermine their countries' close ties.
This affirmation of joint determination came in response to the recent incident where unidentified assailants fatally shot nine Pakistani nationals and injured three others in the outskirts of Saravan city, located in the southeastern Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan.
Among the victims were five individuals from various areas of Alipur in Punjab province, who had been employed in Iran for the past decade. The tragedy prompted Pakistan's envoy to Tehran to use X (formerly Twitter) as a platform to condemn the "horrifying killings" and urge Iran to collaborate fully with Pakistani authorities in addressing this distressing matter.
