WASHINGTON:The Chief of the United States military’s Central Command, General Joseph Votel, has said that Pakistan is showing positive indicators about US concerns on terrorism.
He told a hearing at the US House of Representatives Armed Services Committee in Washington that Islamabad is moving in right direction and we are now beginning to see positive indicators.
Joseph Votel said Pakistan is essential for the success of United States' policy in South Asia.
He said cooperation with Pakistan is key to attaining success in the 16-year-old war in Afghanistan.
The US CENTCOM Chief said he speaks routinely with his Pakistan counterpart.APP/AFP
