KARACHI - Intelligence Agencies have made a major breakthrough in the murder case of Ali Raza Abidi.
Police and intelligence agencies have arrested a major suspect in the murder case of former MNA Ali Raza Abidi from Karachi airport.
According to sources, police arrested a “top suspect” when he was trying to fly abroad from Karachi airport and have moved him to an undisclosed location.
Moreover, the police, acting on the information provided by the two arrested suspects, have arrested three more people from different areas of the city.
Sources added that police will announce the arrest of suspects in a day or two.
Later in the day, IG Sindh Syed Kaleem Imam told media that police have attained a breakthrough in the investigation and will soon announce the arrest of culprits.
Earlier, Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda, in a presser in Rawalpindi, too announced that he is in contact with law enforcement agencies and that the police will soon arrest the murderers and their mastermind.
