LAHORE – Pakistan International Airlines Pilot saves aircraft from a bigdisaster upon landing.
Flight PK-740 narrowly escaped an accident during landing at Lahoreairport, however pilot controlled the plane and landed it on boardingbridge with one engine.
According to sources, A Boeing-777 of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA)was grounded due to damage to its one engine.
Spokesperson of PIA said that a piece of metal hit the engine due toongoing renovation work at Lahore airport.

He further added that new engine parts of Boeing-777 have been dispatchedfrom Karachi and delayed Lahore to Jeddah flight will depart afternecessary repairs to the plane.
