*ISLAMABAD – PPP Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari is likely to be arrestedon December 31, it has been revealed.*
*Zardari’s lawyer Latif Khosa seems to believe his client is going to jailon December 31.*
In a leaked audio call, Khosa, who is also a PPP politician and the formergovernor of Punjab, said it seems like Zardari will be arrested on December31. Discussing the massive money laundering case that the former president,his sister, the Bahria Group and the Omni Group are involved in, he saidthe JIT investigating the case has brought everything out into the open.
“There were still some doubts in Nawaz Sharif’s case but this case[Zardari’s] is ‘fit’,” he said in the call. “Each and everything has beentracked – what was bought, what was sold, the money trail for the housesaround Bilawal House, all of them were bought via these fake accounts,” hesaid.

He also said recommendations have been made (by the JIT) to file 16references against the accused. “[I’ve] heard that separate references willbe filed,” he said.
