The United States has declared that the a democratic and prosper Pakistanis in the interest of the US and Washington values its long-termpartnership with Islamabad.
While responding to two questions forwarded by 24NewsHD TV channelregarding appointment of new army chief and expectations about enhancingPakistan-US strategic and defence cooperation, the US State Department saidWashington will continue cooperation with Islamabad aimed at welfare of thePakistani people.
The State Department said the US is committed to extend assistance forPakistan’s stability and prosperity. The US admires its long-termpartnership with Pakistan, the Department added.
