Pakistan has received only 38% of the flood assistance under the UnitedNations funds appeal.

Sources revealed that Pakistan got $179 million in flood aid which becomesonly 38% of the funds appeal raised by the United Nations. The country isyet to receive 62% of the flood assistance.

Sources say that Pakistan needs another $472 million for the rehabilitationof flood affectees while the world community has provided $310 million inflood assistance.

Most of the funds have been provided by America, Great Britain and SaudiArabia, the sources concluded.
