Foreign national arrested at Islamabad Airport for laundering huge numbers of US dollars

ISLAMABAD – A Kuwaiti national has been arrested at Islamabad InternationalAirport for laundering US dollars.

Khalid al Basiti was off loaded from a private airline’s flight 206 andtaken into custody after he was found responsible of attempting to travelwith over USD46,000.

Customs officials says the money was confiscated from the passenger duringthe screening of his luggage.
