Rhe US dollar experienced a notable increase of Rs 1.76 against thePakistani rupee in interbank trading. This surge saw the USD climbing from278.81 rupees to reach a closing rate of Rs 280.57 within the interbankmarket at the week’s end.
Concurrently, the US currency appreciated by one rupee in the open marketthroughout the same week, transitioning from 280.50 rupees to Rs 281.50.Furthermore, various other foreign currencies exhibited gains during thisperiod.
The Euro, for instance, saw an increase of one rupee, resulting in itsselling price reaching Rs 297. Meanwhile, the British Pound remainedsteady, maintaining the same price at the conclusion of the week.
In addition to these shifts, the Saudi riyal experienced an uptick of 30paisa, settling at 75.50 rupees. Likewise, the Emirates dirham appreciatedby Rs 1.45, ultimately settling at 79.20 rupees.
