In today’s match against South Africa, Pakistan’s national cricket captain,Babar Azam, expressed his disappointment and regrets at missing anopportunity to secure a victory despite the team’s outstanding performance.
During the post-match press conference, Azam conveyed, “Pakistan exhibitedremarkable resilience, and it’s disheartening that we couldn’t seal thegame when victory was within our grasp. The entire team is deeply saddenedby this defeat.”
Team director Mickey Arthur shared his perspective, stating, “We mustcollectively shoulder the responsibility for this loss.”
He continued, “Our players gave their all on the field, but I believe wefell short by 20 to 30 runs. Our bowlers showcased exceptional skills, andwe remain dedicated to winning the remaining three matches in thistournament.
