PESHAWAR – KP government, in a bid to make the province more accessible, isexpanding the newly constructed Swat motorway to the valley of Chitral andMaidan.
Mahmood Khan, Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa announced this whilespeaking to the fifth convocation of the University of Malakand in Chakdara.
Talking to the students, Mahmood remarked that the first stage of the SwatMotorway will be finished this year. He added that in the next stage of theproject, the motorway will be expanded to Madian and Chitral.
“K-P has rich potential for tourism, hydropower, agriculture, mines andminerals sectors,” he said, adding that research in these areas must bepursued by the varsities.
