ISLAMABAD – In a first, India surrenders before the International pressureover Occupied Kashmir.
India has finally agreed to let a delegation from the European Union make ashort visit Indian-occupied Kashmir, according to a message postedlink on the socialnetworking platform Twitter by Indian news agency *ANI*.
The decision was made after a delegation from the EU met Indian PrimeMinister Narendra Modi and raised the alarming human rights situation ofthe occupied valley in front of him.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had revoked the constitutional autonomyof occupied Kashmir on August 5 this year and imposed a military curfew inthe area, imprisoning millions of people.
Thousands of political leaders, businessmen, rights activists and otherordinary citizens were detained after the move. The detained includedformer chief ministers and the mayor of Srinagar.
