ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has clarified the rumors regardingthe Saudi assistance package.
He categorically said that Saudi Arabia has attached no conditions withpackage announced by Riyadh during his visit to the Kingdom.
Answering another question, Imran Khan said the government is consideringto bring judicial reforms package emphasizing on resolving civil complaintswithin one year.
Earlier, a detailed briefing was given regarding the PCP, according towhich the portal is a voice of the people. It will help resolve issuesconfronting disabled, overseas Pakistanis, women, minorities, investors,and politicians.
The portal will function under PM’s Performance Delivery Unit (PMDU). Keyareas of PMDU include facilitation to Pakistani citizens, overseasPakistanis and foreigners, facilitation and coordination forparliamentarians, and Prime Minister’s directives/ Task Management System.
PCP is a complete grievance redressal system, which is connected with allthe government departments, while Prime Minister’s office will monitor theentire procedure.
A citizen of Pakistan can lodge his or her complaint through a smartphoneapp, website, e-mail or facebook. A complaint can also be got registeredthrough a toll free number. Government departments will also hold khulikecthahris to receive people’s complaints. All complaints will be resolvedin a given timeframe and a transparent manner to the satisfaction of thecomplainant.
Citizens’ feedback that whether they are satisfied or not with the servicedelivery, will be helpful in future policymaking.
