In Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), a troubling incidentunfolded when unidentified perpetrators executed a grenade attack on thevehicle of a Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP), as reported by ARY News ona recent Wednesday. This targeted assault took place in the Sateen area ofKurram, where assailants threw two hand grenades towards the DSP’s vehicle.Fortunately, the DSP and six accompanying policemen managed to evade anyharm during this harrowing encounter.

The audacious attackers swiftly made their escape from the scene, leavinglaw enforcement authorities with the task of launching an investigationinto the incident. As per police statements provided to the media, a formalcase has been registered in connection with this grenade attack, andefforts are underway to uncover the identity of those responsible.

Adding to the complexity of the security situation, earlier in the samemonth, the Islamabad police had made a disconcerting discovery when theystumbled upon a suspicious bag in the vicinity of the Secretariat policestation.
