The Punjab government has increased the salary and daily payment of civildefense employees across the province.
For the civil defense employees’ salaries issue, the Punjab government hasissued a supplementary grant of 18.5 million rupees.
Supplementary grants were issued as follows: Lahore received 85.8 millionrupees, Rawalpindi 136.9 million rupees, Sheikhupura 12.8 million rupees,Multan 253.55 million rupees, Gujranwala 422 million rupees, and Gujrat35.5 million rupees.
The Punjab Interior Department has written to district accounts officersfor fund disbursement. Grants were issued to Faisalabad (415 millionrupees), Jhang (2.7 million rupees), Toba (8.4 million rupees), Chiniot(6.75 million rupees), and other districts.
