Former cricketer Moeen Khan has criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board’s(PCB) medical panel for mishandling fast bowler Nasim Shah’s injury in anexclusive interview with the website “Cricket Pakistan.”
Moeen Khan alleged that the injury, which has ruled Nasim out of theupcoming World Cup, is a result of negligence by the team’s medical paneland physiotherapist. Moeen Khan stated, “Nasim’s injury is the consequenceof the medical panel and physiotherapist’s negligence, despite himconsistently complaining for three to four months about discomfort.
When a player tells you about his injury, you should take it seriously,even if you don’t want to drop him. A player always wishes not to bedropped, but when he informs you about his injury, you must take itseriously.”
