Chairman PCB Managing Committee Zakashraf expressed his concerns aboutissuing NOCs to players for foreign leagues before the World Cup. Speakingto the media in Lahore, Zakashraf openly discussed concerns about playerspotentially getting injured while participating in leagues.
He mentioned that there were five players who were granted NOCs for foreignleagues before he assumed office, and when he raised concerns about thismatter with the board, he was informed that the previous chairman hadissued the NOCs.
Zakashraf explained that since the NOCs had already been issued, contractswith the teams were signed, and it wasn’t appropriate to revoke them.
