The price of gold has fallen significantly with the possibility of it soonfalling below the 200,000 rupee per tola mark. According to reports, theprice of gold in Pakistan’s currency markets has further declined.
The price per tola of gold has dropped to 310,000 rupees, falling below the250,600 rupee per tola mark and settling at 225,000 rupees per tola. It islikely that the price per tola of gold will soon drop below the 200,000rupee mark.
It should be noted that until a few days ago, the price of gold in thecountry’s currency markets had risen above 200,000 rupees per tola. A fewdays ago, gold was trading at prices exceeding 230,000 rupees per tola.However, now the price of gold has decreased by nearly 30,000 rupees.
On the other hand, the Pakistani rupee has depreciated significantly, andthe value of the dollar has reached its lowest level in several months. Inthe interbank market, the value of the dollar has fallen to 288.75 rupees,a decrease of 1.05 rupees. In the open currency market, the dollar’s valuehas also dropped to 290 rupees, down 1 rupee. The difference in thedollar’s value between the interbank and open markets now stands at 1.25rupees or 0.43%.
