*ISLAMABAD – High Council for National Reconciliation of AfghanistanChairman Dr Abdullah Abdullah visited Foreign Office on Monday. *
He also held a one-on-one meeting with Foreign Minister Shah MahmoodQureshi. They discussed several matters, including the Afghan peace processand bilateral relations.
Abdullah Abdullah appreciated conciliatory and sincere efforts being madeby Pakistan to take the Afghan peace process to logical conclusion. Heexpressed his gratitude to Pakistani leadership over its role in the Afghanpeace process.
FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Pakistan backs a peaceful and durablepolitical solution of Afghanistan’s conflict through an Afghan-led andowned peace process.
