Indian Military deploys more troops in Occupied Kashmir following rising resistance

SRINAGAR – Indian authorities have tightened restrictions on people’smovements in Occupied jammu and Kashmir on Saturday to prevent possibleprotests triggered by Prime Minister Imran Khan’s speech at UN GeneralAssembly. Soon after the speech, hundreds of Kashmiris came out of theirhomes, shouting slogans in support of Pakistan calling for the liberationof Kashmir.

Police vans fitted with speakers made public announcements in some parts ofSrinagar about movement restrictions while additional troops were deployedto prevent any protests.

The troops also blocked access to the main business center of Srinagar withrazor wire
