Umar Akmal faces yet another blow

ISLAMABAD – Umar Akmal faces yet another blow of his career.

He has not been included in any category for the draft of Pakistan SuperLeague’s (PSL) fourth edition, a leading newspaper reported.

A committee comprised of national selectors Waseem Haider and WajahatullahWasti and the Head of Players Execution Imran Ahmed Khan snubbed thecontroversial 28-year old batsman due to the ongoing spot-fixinginvestigation against him.

Earlier Umar Akmal claimed that he was offered lucrative amount to play twodot deliveries, but he refused the offer.

“I was once offered $200,000 for leaving two deliveries. I was also offeredto skip matches against India,” he said earlier.
