Mehwish Hayat named among top 5 Muslim women of the World

ISLAMABAD – Mehwish Hayat adds another accolade in her cap as she is namedamong the proactive Muslim women globally striving to make the world abetter place. Hayat has spread her wings to support various social causessuch as supporting women hockey in Pakistan, voicing for the justrepresentation of Pakistan internationally, she is seeking to providequality education to impoverished children in the rural areas incollaboration with international humanitarian organizations.

Mehwish Hayat, a recipient of Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, took to Twitter to share thenews with her followers.

The ecstatic Mehwish Hayat expressed her gratitude for sharing the listwith other females, from whom she derives her inspiration.

Hayat shares the list with four other women including Manal Rostom, anathlete, clinical pharmacist, fitness influencer and the founder ofSurviving Hijab; Ilhan Omar, the first Muslim woman of black descent to beelected as a member of US House of Representatives. Linda Sarsour, who wasalso named in Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people list in 2017 andhails from Palestine and athlete Ibtihaj Mohammad.
