KABUL – Taliban say deal with the United States is near during the fifthday talks in Qatar between the two sides.
Talking to media in Doha, following talks, Taliban’s spokesman SuhailShaheen said that we have progress in this round.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo voiced guarded hope fora deal under which Washington will withdraw large numbers of troops fromAfghanistan.
