ISLAMABAD – Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhryhas made ridicilous statement about PM Imran Khan air travel.
He has claimed on Monday that the estimated cost for traveling on apersonal jet comes to around Rs 50-55 per kilometre.
In an interview to a private television channel, Fawad was asked aboutPrime Minister Imran Khan’s daily visits to and from the PM office on thestate-owned helicopter to which the politician replied that the mode oftravel actually helped in saving money.
When asked about what could be the cost of the travel, the lawmaker repliedthat on a private jet, it comes around Rs50-55 per Kilometre, sending shockwaves across the aviation industry.
Ch stuck to his point and affirmed that any pilot would confirm the samecost.
