KARACHI –FIA has decided to register two FIRs against Pakistan PeoplesParty’s (PPP) Faryal Talpur.
She on Saturday has submitted a surety bond of Rs2 million for bail inmoney laundering case.
PPP leader appeared before joint investigation team of the FederalInvestigation Agency (FIA) while her brother and former president ofPakistan Asif Ali Zardari has failed to attend the hearing so far.
Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur was summoned today to record theirstatements in fake accounts case. The decision was taken during an eighthour meeting of the team, which was presided over by Dr Najaf Mira andattended by FIA directors from Punjab and Sindh among seven officials.
FIA had also decided to register two to three first information reports(FIRs) against the accused.
It is to be mentioned here that Asif Ali Zardari, Faryal Talpur and theirassociates are accused of sending Rs35 billion abroad through fake accountsafter which, their names were placed on Exit Control List (ECL).
