SRINAGAR – In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of stateterrorism martyred two youth during a cordon and search operation inKukarnag area of Islamabad district on Tuesday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the killings triggered intensiveclashes between youth and the forces’ personnel.
In another incident, a teen age boy was martyred and another injured when amortar shell went off in Bandipora district.
The boys were playing in an open field when suddenly a mortar shell ofIndian army exploded in Gurez area of the district.
Meanwhile, clashes broke out between Indian troops and protesters during acordon and search operation in Karimabad area of district Pulwama.
The troops used force and fired teargas shells, while the youth peltedstones on them.
On the otherhand, the Joint Resistance Leadership in a statement inSrinagar strongly condemned the extension of judicial remand of illegallydetained Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Muhammad Yasin Malikby a National Investigation Agency court upto July 7.
The JRL said that the illegal detention of Muhammad Yasin Malik is beingprolonged in violation of fundamental human rights.
Massive clashes erupted between students and Indian troops in Gandarbal andSopore areas against the killing of mujahid commander Zakir Moosa by Indianarmy.
The Central University of Kashmir, Ganderbal campus and Government DegreeCollage Gandarbal blocked the road outside the campus in protest.
The students of Degree College Sopore staged the protest inside the collegeand when they tried to march outside, police and paramilitary personnelprevented them, triggering clashes.
