*ISLAMABAD: *The government has announced a four-day public holiday on theoccasion of Eidul Fitr.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Interior on Tuesday,the holidays will start from June 4 (Tuesday) and run until June 7 (Friday).
Eidul Fitr marks the culmination of the holy month of Ramazan, during whichMuslims all over the world observe 30 days of fasting.
With Saturday and Sunday succeeding the holidays, government employeeswould be able to enjoy a six-day long weekend and can further extend it tonine days if they are able to get their leave approved for June 3 (Monday).
